Each new patient receives a comprehensive examination and review of treatment needs. The first-time patient is introduced to the dental environment in words and phrases they can understand. Positive reinforcement with praise and stickers is very effective with our young patients. In addition, California public schools require completion of a dental examination before entering Kindergarten. We will be happy to complete the necessary forms. Routine dental exams are typically performed twice per year to monitor growth and development.
