If decay in a baby tooth is into the nerve, removing the diseased part of the nerve (pulp) and placing a disinfecting mediation may allow the tooth to be saved. A crown will be needed to restore baby molars and some front teeth. For permanent teeth, referral to an Endodontist will be provided.
